Privacy Policy
LOCKD is a discipline and consistency app for iOS that helps users build habits, track distractions, block distracting apps, and maintain daily consistency. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using LOCKD, you agree to this Policy.
1) Who we are
“LOCKD” is developed and maintained by Tuned Tech LLC, a Wyoming-registered company. Contact: lockdhelp@gmail.com.
Tuned Tech LLC acts as the data controller for personal data collected through the Service.
2) What we collect
Profile & Account
- User ID (UUID), email (if signed in), first name, age
- Motivation (“why”), non-negotiable habits, payment/subscription status, streak data
Tasks, Habits, Goals
- Daily tasks, completion status, priorities, due dates, notes
- Habits & completion history, goals & progress
Focus & Activity
- Focus session durations, schedules, break timers
- Blocked app selections (bundle identifiers) via Apple Screen Time / Family Controls
Onboarding Responses
- Focus areas, distractions, screen time estimates, routine, notification preferences
Device & Technical Data
- Basic device and technical information (e.g., device type, OS version, app version, and crash diagnostics) for security, debugging, and performance
Device & Local Cache
- Stored locally using iOS UserDefaults/App Groups: blocked bundles, schedules, preferences
3) How we use data
- Provide and improve app features (habits, tasks, focus tracking, app blocking)
- Sync your data across devices when signed in (via Supabase)
- Manage subscriptions and paywalls (via SuperwallKit / Apple IAP)
- Send optional notifications (reminders, streaks, summaries)
- Security, debugging, and preventing abuse
- Measure app performance and marketing effectiveness (see “Analytics & Attribution”)
4) Third-party services
Apple Services — Screen Time / Family Controls, Device Activity, Sign in with Apple, In-App Purchases, Notifications
SuperwallKit — paywalls & subscription status (Apple handles payments)
Analytics & Attribution Providers — we may use analytics and attribution tools (including advertising platforms) to understand app usage and measure campaign performance, subject to iOS privacy controls
5) Legal bases (GDPR)
- Contract: to provide the app/features you request
- Legitimate interests: app security, debugging, fraud prevention, product improvement, and performance measurement
- Consent: notifications; optional sign-in; and tracking/attribution where required (including via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework)
6) Data sharing
We share data with the service providers listed above only as needed to operate and improve the app and measure performance. We do not sell personal information as defined under applicable privacy laws. Payments are processed by Apple.
7) Data retention
We retain data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete associated Supabase records within a reasonable period. Local caches can be cleared from the app.
8) Security
We use HTTPS/TLS and rely on Apple’s secure storage mechanisms (such as Keychain and App Groups) where appropriate. No system is 100% secure.
9) International transfers
Supabase and Apple (and other providers we use) may process data on servers outside your region. Where applicable, we rely on standard contractual safeguards and provider compliance programs.
10) Children
LOCKD is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child provided data, contact us for deletion.
11) Your rights
- Access, correct, or delete your data
- Export data from the app (where available)
- Object to or restrict certain processing (where applicable)
- CCPA/CPRA: right to know, delete, and non-discrimination; and the right to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” where applicable

12) Analytics & Attribution
We may use analytics and attribution tools to understand app usage, improve the Service, and measure marketing effectiveness. These tools may collect limited device and usage information such as app events (e.g., onboarding completion, trial start, subscription status), device identifiers used for attribution, and technical data (such as app version and device type).
Where required, we respect Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework and your iOS privacy choices. You can control tracking permissions through iOS Settings.
13) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. We’ll revise the “Effective date” and may notify you in-app for significant changes.
